Alajanae Riley
Student of the Year

Warren Easton has selected Alajanae Riley as our 2021-2022 student of the year.  A senior, Ms. Riley is Co-Captain of the WE cheerleading team, Fundraising Chair of the WE Big Sister Little Sister club, member of the National Honor Society, and a Student Council member. As a dual enrollment student, Ms. Riley will earn a Certificate in Technical Studies (30 credit hours) upon graduating in May 2022.

Chigowzie Nwagabara
Questbridge Scholarship

Senior, Chigowzie Nwagabara has been selected as a finalist for the Questbridge Scholarship.  Questbridge recruits, develops, and supports high achieving students.  Once selected, Chigowzie will receive a four year scholarship to a highly selective university or liberal arts college.

Come out and support the Fighting Eagles Volleyball Team this week as they take on De la Salle (Tuesday) and East Jefferson (Wednesday) in the Easton Gymnasium at 4:30 pm. Lady Eagles Volleyball Team Opens 2020 Season With A Victory
After months of conditioning and practice without seeing an opponent, the Lady Eagles got their first taste of competition Thursday against the Patriots of John Ehret. You could see the months of “no play time” on both teams, and the strange feeling of playing to an empty gym, as both teams started slow, but it did not take that long to change. Both teams found their rhythm and it was game on. All three games were back and forth, trading the lead multiply times, but in the end the Eagles were victorious. READ MORE
